ADVOCACY

As well as providing support to families and friends of GLBT people, PFLAG also advocates on behalf of GLBT people, and offers educational programs to improve the general populations understanding of GLBT people.

PFLAG maintains several advocacy and educational programs including a voter education and registration program.

Our House to the Statehouse and Bringing the Message Home are, respectively, our state and federal legislative monitoring and advocacy programs.

PFLAG has a wide range of programs that focus on youth and education. Information about Our House to the Schoolhouse (PFLAG's K-12 safe schools program), and our youth watch (18-25 year olds), and the PFLAG National Scholarships Program for graduating high school seniors can be found by clicking the links below.

Information about our Families of Color Network and our outreach to the faith communities is also listed below. Our House to the Courthouse is our judicial watch program that monitors judicial nominations.

In addition to the programs that it maintains, PFLAG also advocates and educates the general public about GLBT civil rights and legal protections.
